Lover's Claim

Chapter One:  My name is Nyoka. I am fourteen years old and I’m running away. Running from a disordered Hell located in the city of Lost Angels, Los Angeles. No one leaves.

The evening, dim and underweight, has taken over morning.  No one has called with concern or news, ringing danger warnings.   
Her wings spread high above in the shapeless night of mourning.  Flying beyond the irony, drowning sorrows in the sea.   
Chaotic bells and a burning silence thwarts the tainted victim.  The captors let the hoops of golden hair consume the youngling's whim.   
Two ebony wings clipped and tautly tied around a circled enclosed rim.  No soaring to the far clouds, the lost ornamented rupee. Confined

1. I wish you would open up. Everytime I see you cry, my heart aches with such pain. All I want is your happiness, baby.
